PreviousArmy: Heroes and UnitsNextTokenomics

Last updated 2 years ago

Eladrea uses Team Battler Combat Model. Let's take a closer look at the main features and advantages of PvE and PvP encounters:

Main Features

  • Battles are held automatically with the manual use of spells and unit abilities. It’s essential to use the right moment to deal maximum damage to the enemy.

  • The result is calculated based on different factors such as hero level and abilities, equipment, units’ power, and an army formation.

  • Emphasis on short combat sessions (1-2 minutes)

  • Exciting PvE and PvP battles

Team Battler PVE mechanics:

PvE battles are asynchronous battles with mobs. Victorious in the PvE encounter may be rewarded with resources and something special in case Boss fights or "special event enemies” encounters.

  • The battlefield usually has a look of a continuous arena (including various twists and turns), with rival mobs appearing along the way, while the hero's party moves through it. The Player's goal is to fight through the waves of enemies to the arena's end with an optional Arena Boss. (depends on the encounter's difficulty level)

  • Battle advance. At the beginning of the encounter, the player's army automatically rushes towards the nearest enemies, defeats them (if the player is skilled enough), then continues its way to the next mob, and so on until the level is completely cleared of enemies.

  • Units automatically chose their targets and attack them. At this moment player can manually activate the preferred skills of his hero and units or use various spells or boosters.

  • At the end of the combat, players have a chance to study the detailed encounter results, awards, and stats.

There are three main PvE encounter types:

  • Path - the army moves forward through the arena, battling enemies along the way to the encounter’s end with a boss, or a significantly stronger than usual mob, as the final challenge.

  • Waves - The player's army must hold the ground from the continuous waves of attacking enemies.

  • Mixed - Combination of the two previous encounter types. For example, the player's army rushes forward, defeats several mobs, and then holds the ground from the enemy waves. Or vice versa.

Army stats that affect the battle result:

Scalable Combat stats:

  • Hit Points

  • Attack

  • Defense

  • Load

Static Combat Stats:

  • Attack speed

  • Crit chance

  • Crit damage multiplier

  • Physical defense

  • Magic defense

Other:

  • Party movement speed multiplier

When a unit pack receives damage equal to or more than a pack’s single unit HP - that pack loses the corresponding number of its units.

Enemies types

Common mobs - The Player can face all types of close and ranged combat enemy units, spell casters, and support troops. Victory is rewarded with resources or common items.

Legendary monsters - Dangerous bosses or rare creatures, which are almost impossible to defeat by yourself. The help of a Game Guild or at least several other players are required. The reward for defeating such enemies is great. It can be a large number of resources, $FEA tokens and the chance of hero summon puzzle drops.

Special events monsters - seasonal enemies spawning during specific events. Similar to Bosses, they can't be defeated by themselves, so players must form raiding parties or join a Guild to increase their chances of defeating the Event Boss within the limited time. Defeating such mobs also provides a large amount of loot in resources, FEA tokens, and special items puzzle drops.

PvP mechanics and Guilds

PvP is similar to PvE in many ways, but with its own features and differences.

  • They can be desynchronized or real-time (in case your rival is online)

  • PvP encounters have the look of party vs party, featuring the hero + 4 stacks of units from both sides.

  • Using various combat spells, boosters and skills are permitted. Same as in PvE players don’t have direct control over their units, who behave automatically on the battlefield, but have the possibility to manually use their heroes and each unit's abilities and also manually preselect in which battlefield zones the scrolls or spells will be activated.

  • As a reward for winning in PvP battles player earns a part of his rival's resources and ranking points to level up the leaderboard rankings.

Guilds

Guilds are in-game communities of players united by similar goals and interests. The Player can join an existing Guild or establish his own. Each Guild has its own ranking model and offers its members not only support on the battlefield versus dangerous mobs but also being a member of the game Guild provides the player with access to special content.

  • Guilds - Joining a Guild or creating your own provides players access to high-level content, like challenging unique bosses, taking control over FEA monuments, or Annual Wars.

  • Forging an Alliance - Guilds can unite into Alliances to defend against invaders in the game world during the Story Events. Alliance gives more power and troops in order to conquer and control more regions and monuments. In addition, joining the Alliance will offer an opportunity to earn your place in the ranks of one of the rival sides in the Annual War. The triumphant will receive the rarest possible rewards, distributed by the Alliance Guild Masters among their followers.

  • Guild Wars - The Guild Wars are seasonal parts of the Alliance Wars. Each intermediate round lasts for 1 month and results in the capturing of neutral lands or changing the landlords of already captured regions with the common resources and $FEA tokens generation at the end of each game season (month).

  • Guild Ranking and Rewards - the higher the Guild ranking based on Guild season results and territory control, the higher the position in the ranking table and the bigger the reward. As a reward for high-level content, Guild players can receive special points that can be accumulated and exchanged for rare items in a special in-game store.
